Speaker

I went to listen to Bryan Anderson yesterday at the ASB. He talked about his life and his situation. He was in Iraq and got both his legs and left arm blown off. He talked how it happened. He seemed real cool about it. He didn't mind answering any questions about either. He go's all over the country telling his story and he was on the cover of Esquire magazine which was nice. I thought he was good to listen to because he was closer to the students age. We could relate to more of his language and the he acted. That helped to keep my interest.

Mini Convention

I went to the mini-convention wednesday. I went to the keynote address sesion at 11 am. The speaker was Mr. Slautterback. I currently have him for Movement Ed. class. He is one of the nicest people i know. He talked about how we need to be professional and to improve ourselves. I liked how he had elementary students come in and do some square dancing for the audience. I thought he gave a wonderful presentation.

pocket pc

I was doing the assignment with the pocket pc and I thought it was pretty easy to find things. Some things were hard like recording a message and beaming things but most of the tasks weren't hard. I think if I had a couple hundred dollars to spare I could see my self buying one. I liked it a lot. It could use it quite often when I'm away from my computer.

Life expectancy

I was reading on the internet and I guess a new study came out. The country with the longest life expectancy for men is Iceland. There average is 79.4 years old. The country with the longest for women is Japan with an 86 year old average. I think it was Japan with the over all combined longest with like 82. I thought it was neat to see that people can live a lot longer then years ago.
